Where the ring is actually built

Smart rings are a sealing problem as much as an electronics problem. A 2.9 mm band has to survive 5–10 ATM, keep an optical window clean against skin, and hold a battery that does not swell after 300 cycles. Our production flow is organised around those three risks.

Production flow

  1. Incoming inspection — titanium and ceramic shells, cells and sensor modules checked against drawing and lot.
  2. SMT and module assembly — flexible PCB population, optical sensor alignment, cell connection.
  3. Calibration — PPG baseline and temperature offset calibrated per unit, not per batch.
  4. Sealing and shell assembly — gasket placement, press-fit, adhesive cure under controlled humidity.
  5. Water resistance test — pressure test per unit at the rated depth before packing.
  6. Ageing — charge/discharge cycle and continuous-run test to catch early cell and sensor failures.
  7. Final QC and packing — function check, appearance check under magnification, serial recording, packing.

Quality control points

Stage What is checked Failure handling
Incoming Shell dimensions, cell capacity, sensor module function Lot rejected and returned to supplier
In-line Sensor alignment, seal integrity, firmware flash Unit pulled, root cause logged
Water test Pressure hold at rated depth Rework or scrap, never downgraded
Ageing Charge cycles, runtime, temperature drift Batch hold and re-test
Final Function, appearance, pairing, app connection 100% screening before packing

Compliance documents

Test reports for CE, FCC, RoHS and REACH are issued per order and per model, and UN38.3 battery reports are supplied for air freight. We do not describe a product as certified until the report for that exact model and order exists.

What we do not claim

We publish no factory-area, headcount or capacity figures you cannot verify on a video call. If you need a factory audit, a live video walkthrough or third-party inspection before your first order, ask for it in the inquiry and we will schedule it.
